This outstanding specialist SEND school in the London Borough of Newham is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Maths Teacher to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. Supporting secondary-aged pupils with Autism, Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech & Language needs and associated SEND, the school provides a highly personalised curriculum where every learner is encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a lifelong enjoyment of learning.

What the Role Involves:
As an SEN Maths Teacher, you'll deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, adapting learning to meet a range of abilities and EHCP outcomes. You'll use creative and practical teaching approaches to develop numeracy, problem-solving and confidence while working closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and families to ensure every pupil achieves meaningful progress.
What the School is Looking For:
The ideal SEN Maths Teacher will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), although experienced teachers from specialist settings and exceptional mainstream practitioners are encouraged to apply. Previous experience working with pupils with Autism or additional learning needs would be highly advantageous. The school is seeking a patient, adaptable and reflective teacher who believes every pupil can succeed with the right support.
