Cover Supervisor | Hillingdon | October 2026
Are you an experienced teacher or cover supervisor with excellent behaviour management skills and the confidence to lead engaging lessons?
If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you at a school in Hillingdon!
As a Cover Supervisor, you will need to be flexible and adaptable, as you will be covering teachers’ PPA time, meaning your timetable will vary from day to day. All lessons will be planned and prepared for you, so there is no requirement to plan or mark work.
Instead, your main responsibility will be to maintain excellent behaviour management, ensure students remain focused and engaged, and encourage them to complete all work to the high standards expected by their teachers.
What you will need to apply for this cover supervisor position:
- Experience teaching and leading lessons at KS1 and KS2 level
- Excellent behaviour management strategies
- Consistently being able to use the reward system to motivate students
- To be able to build positive relationships with students
- Resilient attitude to be able to come into a new lesson with a fresh attitude
