Full-time, Permanent PRU Maths Teacher
We are looking for a PRU Maths Teacher to join a well-established school in Barnet. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced PRU Maths Teacher or a strong mainstream Maths Teacher looking to transition into a specialist alternative provision setting.
As a PRU Maths Teacher, you will plan and deliver tailored Maths lessons for pupils who require additional behavioural, emotional, and academic support. You will work closely with the wider alternative provision team to build positive relationships, support engagement, and help pupils make meaningful academic and personal progress.
PRU Maths Teacher Requirements
- Holds QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification and has strong Maths subject knowledge
- Has experience teaching Maths or supporting pupils with SEMH and behavioural needs
- Demonstrates strong and consistent behaviour management
- Can build positive and trusting relationships with young people
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Youll be joining a supportive provision with an experienced leadership team, small class sizes, and a strong focus on behaviour support and pastoral care. This is the ideal role for a PRU Maths Teacher seeking to develop their experience within alternative provision while making a genuine difference to pupils' outcomes.
