Are you considering a future in teaching and looking for a school-based role that will provide genuine classroom experience before teacher training? A successful secondary school in Newham is seeking an Aspiring Secondary Teacher to join from September 2026 on a full-time basis until July 2027.
This opportunity has been designed for graduates who want to develop their understanding of teaching, behaviour management and student progress within a supportive and high-achieving secondary environment. Working across KS3 and KS4, you will gain exposure to multiple subject areas while developing the practical skills required for a successful future in education.
What You Will Gain- Full-time experience within a thriving secondary school until July 2027
- 33.5 working hours per week, including half-days on Fridays
- £444–£513 weekly via PAYE (inclusive of holiday pay)

You will support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 classrooms, provide targeted intervention support, assist with lesson delivery and work closely with students who require additional academic guidance. You will also contribute to small-group and 1:1 intervention programmes designed to improve attainment and confidence.
