Mental Health Practitioner | Immediate Start | South East London

Role: Mental Health Practitioner

Location: East London

Salary: £80–£100 per day

Visa: Unfortunately, we cannot provide sponsorship for this role

Mental Health Practitioner | About the Role

Do you want to make a real difference to children’s emotional well-being? We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Mental Health Practitioner (THRIVE/ELSA trained) to join a supportive East London school this September.

In this role, you will:

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need additional emotional support.
  • Use Thrive strategies to help children understand, express, and regulate their emotions.
  • Provide a safe and structured environment where pupils can build resilience, confidence, and healthy relationships.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive school culture.

Mental Health Practitioner | What We’re Looking For

  • A strong understanding of children’s social, emotional, and mental health needs.
  • The ability to build trust and work empathetically with young people.
  • Experience in a similar role, or training in emotional well-being strategies (Thrive qualification desirable but not essential).
  • A patient, resilient, and caring approach to supporting pupils.
