This community primary school educates approximately 226 pupils aged 3–11 and is part of the Wyvern Federation. The role will involve:

  • Supporting pupils with speech, language and communication needs
  • Delivering targeted interventions on a 1:1 and small-group basis
  • Working closely with teachers, parents and external professionals
  • Supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism and communication difficulties
  • Monitoring progress and contributing towards individual support plans
  • Helping create an inclusive and engaging learning environment

Applicants should hold a degree from a leading UK university. Previous experience working with children or young people is highly desirable. A genuine interest in Speech and Language Therapy or SEND is essential. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, patient and compassionate approach is required.
