A nurturing and well-resourced specialist setting in Kensington and Chelsea is seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher (EYFS/KS1) to join its supportive team from September 2026, or earlier if possible. This opportunity is ideal for an educator who is passionate about early intervention and committed to helping children with additional needs develop independence and confidence in a structured, caring environment. The school is highly regarded for its child-centred approach, offering small class sizes and exceptional levels of support through experienced 1:1 Teaching Assistants for every child.

The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering personalised learning to pupils with a range of needs, ensuring every child can thrive both academically and socially when introducing the curriculum.

Role Overview:
  • Teach pupils within EYFS/KS1 in a specialist setting
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based and differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Work closely with dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistants to provide consistent, targeted support
  • Support pupils in developing independence, communication skills, and confidence
  • Monitor progress against EHCP targets and adapt provision accordingly
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment
Candidate Profile:
  • UK QTS would be necessary
  • Experience working within EYFS and/or KS1, ideally with SEN pupils
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and SEND
  • A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to teaching
  • Passion for supporting children to grow in independence and confidence
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

This role would suit both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs looking to develop within a highly supportive specialist setting. The appointed teacher will benefit from excellent staff support, ongoing CPD, and the opportunity to make a genuine impact on pupils’ early development.
