The Primary Teaching Assistant will support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy, work with individual pupils and small groups to raise attainment, support children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and speech and language needs, assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom activities and assessment, and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Applicants should hold a minimum 2:1 degree from a leading UK university. Previous experience working with children is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should be proactive, enthusiastic and passionate about education. A genuine desire to support children's academic and personal development is required.
