Aspiring Child Psychologist | Tower Hamlets

Have you recently from a Top 20 University with a Psychology Degree and are looking to take the next step towards a career in Child or Clinical Psychology?

Are you eager to gain hands-on experience supporting young people with additional needs in a school setting?

We are working with a highly regarded and inclusive school in Tower Hamlets who are seeking an Aspiring Child Psychologist to work as a SEN Teaching Assistant, supporting pupils both 1:1 and within a mainstream classroom environment from from September.

Aspiring Child Psychologist | Job requirements:

  • Obtained a minimum 2:1 degree in Psychology or a related subject from a Top UK University
  • Confident in supporting students in various subjects up to GCSE.
  • Ideally have previous experience working with children or young people
  • Passionate about SEN and committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing

Aspiring Child Psychologist | Benefits of the role:

  • Support students with ADHD, ASC, and other additional needs
  • Gain valuable experience providing academic, emotional, and behavioural support

This role is an excellent opportunity for an Aspiring Child Psychologist to gain paid, relevant experience within an inclusive school. The interview process includes a one-week paid trial, with the role continuing for the rest of the academic year following a successful placement.
