A forward-thinking secondary school in Waltham Forest is seeking a Literacy Mentor to join its support team from September 2026 until July 2027. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a graduate looking to develop their experience within education while making a measurable impact on students' reading, writing and communication skills across KS3 and KS4.

What the School Offers:- Full academic year placement from September 2026 until July 2027
- 33.5 working hours per week, including half-days on Fridays

The Ideal Candidate:- Holds a 2:1 degree or above, ideally within English, Humanities or a related discipline
- Has previous child-centred experience through tutoring, mentoring or coaching
- Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Is passionate about education and supporting young people to succeed
