We are seeking an ambitious Head of Science for a permanent role in Islington at a high-performing, non-selective 11-18 academy. This opportunity suits a strong Science specialist ready to lead a calm, focused and academically ambitious department.

Permanent Head of Science role from September 2026. Inner London MPS/UPS + TLR2c.

Join a mixed secondary and sixth form with approximately 900 pupils on roll, including a small sixth form cohort. Work in a school that has maintained very strong standards under external inspection. Benefit from a culture where leaders consider staff workload and wellbeing when making decisions.

Lead Science across KS3-KS5, strengthening curriculum quality, assessment, modelling and intervention.
