Art Teacher – Role Overview
- Work with an experienced team of Teachers who will support you as an Art Teacher and encourage your professional development
- Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities if suitable and appropriate
- Full-time, permanent position, starting January 2027
- Salary: Paid to scale, Outer London Teacher Pay Scale depending on experience
- Located in Ilford, Redbridge, with excellent transport links
Art Teacher – Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3-KS4
- Inspire students to explore different artistic techniques, mediums and creative processes
- Develop students' practical Art skills, knowledge and confidence
- Work collaboratively with the Art department to deliver an engaging curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Art Teacher – Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Degree in Art, Fine Art or a related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of the Art curriculum
- Previous experience teaching Art is desirable
