About the role:

As a Behaviour Mentor in Hounslow, London, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting students with challenging behaviour and special educational needs. Working closely with dedicated staff in a school rated 'Outstanding' by Ofsted, you’ll have the opportunity to develop positive relationships and make a lasting impact on student wellbeing and academic success.

Key responsibilities of a Behaviour Mentor:

  • Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist children with challenging behaviour, using empathy and excellent communication skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers and the SEN team to create a positive learning environment.
  • Use your creativity and aspiration to inspire students to reach their potential.
  • Contribute to the overall ethos of integrity, creativity, and aspiration within the school.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • A minimum 2:1 degree from a Top 20 UK University.
  • Outstanding A-Level results.
  • A passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN.
  • Patience, empathy, and excellent listening skills.
  • A desire to progress within the field of education.

Job specifics:

  • Location: Hounslow, London
  • Pay: £444-£513 weekly via PAYE (including holiday pay)
  • Contract Type: Full Time, Long Term until July 2027
  • Start Date: September 2026
