Science Technician – Hillingdon – Immediate Start

What the role involves

Preparing and maintaining science laboratories, equipment and resources

Supporting practical lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Following health and safety procedures in laboratories and prep rooms

Managing stock, ordering materials and maintaining digital inventories

Assisting with demonstrations and experiments to help lessons run smoothly
What the school is looking for
Applicants must be CLEAPSS trained and confident applying laboratory health and safety procedures. The ideal candidate will have a First Class or 2:1 degree from a top 30 UK university, preferably in a science-related subject. Strong IT skills are essential, and experience in education or another child-centred setting is highly valued.
The school is looking for someone organised, proactive and able to communicate well with teachers and students. Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as visa sponsorship is unavailable.
Salary and contract

Up to £444 per week, pro rata, during term time
