We are seeking a dependable School Facilities Manager with a strong background in site management to join our team. Your responsibilities will include overseeing a site maintenance team and ensuring the smooth operation of facilities at this all-through Secondary School in Tower Hamlets, renowned for its top-quality premises and facilities.

As the School Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe, efficient, and conducive learning environment for students and staff alike. We are looking for someone with a proven track record in management of efficient site maintenance, preferably within an educational setting, and proficiency in DIY skills.

Salary: £37,500-£42,500

Contract: Full-time, Term-time, Permanent

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a school environment is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in line management, overseeing cleaners and caretakers.
  • Possession of relevant site training and qualifications such as COSHH, IOSHH, and Asbestos Awareness.
  • Proficient in DIY skills for general maintenance and repairs.
  • Reliable with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
  • A driving license is preferred as you will be responsible for driving the school minibus.
