A successful secondary school in Braintree is seeking an experienced KS2 Teacher with a strong literacy background to join their team from September 2026. This is a unique opportunity for a primary-trained teacher to support Year 7 pupils who are struggling academically, providing targeted intervention to help them make progress and confidently access the secondary curriculum.

The Role - As a KS2 Teacher, you will:

  • Build pupils' confidence, independence and engagement with learning

  • Hold British QTS or have completed UK teacher training
  • Have strong KS2 teaching experience within a UK primary school

  • Be confident adapting teaching to individual needs
  • Have high expectations alongside a nurturing and encouraging approach
  • Be legally entitled to work in the UK – visa sponsorship is not available
