This Cover Supervisor role is ideal for a graduate, aspiring teacher or experienced school-based professional who can step into lessons, manage behaviour calmly and keep pupils focused on the work set.

The Role
- Supervise classes across KS3 and KS4 when teachers are absent
- Deliver pre-planned work and keep pupils on task
- Manage behaviour in line with the school's policies
- Support a broad range of pupils in a busy, real school environment
- Work closely with teaching staff, pastoral teams and senior leaders
- Assist with general classroom support when cover is not required
Candidate Requirements
- Degree preferred, but strong school experience also considered
- Previous tutoring, coaching, mentoring or youth work experience desirable
- Confident leading a classroom and setting clear expectations
- Calm, firm and professional approach to behaviour management
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Reliable, proactive and able to commit for the full academic year
