SEND Teaching Assistant | Barnet | Immediate Start

Do you have the patience, empathy and determination to support children with SEND? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity to become a SEND Teaching Assistant. Are you ready to make a real difference to children with SEND, including those with Autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or who are non-verbal?

We are working with a warm and inclusive one-form entry primary school in Barnet that is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant to join their Additional Resource Provision (ARP). This is a long-term SEND Teaching Assistant role starting immediately.

SEND Teaching Assistant | The Role

  • Full-time SEND Teaching Assistant in the school’s specialist ARP
  • Immediate start - role through to July 2026
  • £444 per week (PAYE, term-time only), based on a 6.5-hour workday
  • Support pupils with high and complex needs including Autism, ADHD, speech and language delays, and non-verbal communication
  • Provide small group support tailored to individual needs
