What’s on Offer:

  • Competitive Outer London Salary (HLTA scale, dependent on experience)
  • Permanent, full-time role starting May/June
  • 36 hours per week, term-time only
  • Work within a brand-new SEMH provision in a mainstream primary setting

The Role:

  • Lead and deliver small group and one-to-one SEMH interventions across the primary phase
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour strategies
  • Work closely with teachers to plan and adapt learning for individual needs
  • Take responsibility for delivering planned lessons in teacher absence where appropriate
  • Contribute to behaviour support plans, EHCP targets, and pupil progress tracking

Who We’re Looking For:

  • HLTA qualification or substantial experience working at HLTA level
  • Experience supporting children with SEMH needs in a school or similar setting
  • Experience in PRUs, Alternative Provisions, or SEN schools is desirable but not essential
  • A university degree is desirable but not essential
  • Strong communication skills and confidence leading small groups
  • Calm, resilient approach with the ability to manage challenging behaviour
  • Ambition to contribute to the development of a new specialist provision
