Are you an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist with a patient, enthusiastic approach and a strong interest in supporting children with SEND? A highly regarded school in Ealing is looking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs from September.

This full-time role is ideal for a Psychology graduate or someone from a related background looking to gain valuable school-based experience before progressing into Speech and Language Therapy, Educational Psychology, or another child-focused profession.

The school has a strong SEND provision and a supportive staff team that works closely with pupils with Autism, speech and communication needs, ADHD, and SEMH. This role will provide hands‑on experience supporting students both in and outside of the classroom.

Criteria

  • Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist or Educational Psychologist
  • Psychology Graduate or graduate from a related subject
  • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Passionate about supporting pupils with SEND and communication needs
  • Strong communication skills and a calm, patient approach
  • Confident supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
