This role is based in a bilingual primary school serving around 130 pupils aged 4‑11. The school offers a strong inclusive ethos and a bilingual curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with Autism and ADHD.
  • Implement personalized strategies to support engagement, communication, and emotional regulation.
  • Work closely with teaching staff, parents, and external agencies.
  • Support the pupil during lessons and unstructured times over the school day.
  • Create a positive, structured and nurturing learning environment.
  • Monitor progress and contribute toward SEND support plans.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND.
  • Strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills.
  • Proactive, resilient, and passionate about supporting young people.
  • Knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and ADHD is highly desirable.
  • A background in Psychology, Education, or a related field would be advantageous.
