What the Role Involves

  • Providing classroom support across KS3 and KS4 subjects
  • Delivering small‑group or 1:1 intervention sessions in core areas such as English, Maths and Science
  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation, differentiation and behaviour management
  • Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, helping them to access the curriculum
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students can achieve

What the School is Looking For

The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, reliable and motivated graduate looking to gain meaningful experience in education. A 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university is preferred, and any prior experience working with young people will be an advantage. You should have strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a genuine desire to help students reach their full potential. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.

Salary and Contract Info

  • £444+ per week, pro rata to term time only
  • Full-time, long-term contract (November-July)
  • Term-time only
  • Opportunity for future teacher training or continued employment following a successful placement
