A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Richmond is offering an exciting opportunity for an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist to join their SEN team. This Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist role is ideal for Psychology Linguistics or Speech Sciences graduates eager to gain experience supporting children with speech language and communication needs before pursuing further study or professional training.

Working as an Aspiring Speech and Language Therapist youll collaborate with speech therapists SENCOs and teachers to implement therapy plans and communication-based interventions. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in pupils ability to express themselves and access learning.

The Role

• Supporting pupils with speech and language delays or disorders
• Running 1 : 1 and small-group interventions
• Helping children develop vocabulary social communication and confidence
• Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records

We\’re Looking For

• A graduate with a 2 : 1 or above in Psychology Linguistics or Speech Science
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Interest in speech language and child development
