Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) | Harrow | September Start

A close-knit two-form entry primary school in Harrow is looking for a committed HLTA to join their dynamic team this September 2025.

HLTA | Role Summary:

  • Support learning across the curriculum in EYFS, KS1 or/and KS2
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absence or PPA
  • Lead small group interventions and contribute to planning
  • Promote a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment

HLTA | Candidate Profile:

  • Has relevant experience to meet HLTA standards
  • Ideally holds a 2:1 or above in a UK Psychology degree, a Bachelor\’s in Education, or a related field
  • Minimum of one year\’s experience as a TA/LSA in a UK school
  • Excellent knowledge of the primary curriculum
  • Confident leading a class and managing behaviour positively
  • Adaptable, proactive, and a great team player
