Are you an experienced SEND/MLD Teacher who enjoys adapting learning around individual pupils rather than delivering a one-size-fits-all curriculum? We are looking for a teacher who can bring strong differentiation, patience and SEND expertise into a small specialist SEMH setting supporting young people aged 11-16.

The role involves:
- Planning and delivering highly differentiated lessons for pupils with additional needs.
- Breaking learning down into manageable steps and adapting resources to individual ability.
- Supporting pupils with cognition and learning alongside SEMH needs.
- Developing pupils' confidence, independence and engagement with education.
- Tracking progress and adapting teaching in response to individual needs.
- Working closely with support staff, SEND colleagues and therapeutic professionals.
We're looking for QTS/QTLS and experience teaching within SEND or specialist education. MLD/SEN experience would be highly valuable. A teacher who understands that progress can look different for every pupil. Someone confident managing behaviour and maintaining a calm, consistent classroom. A patient, creative teacher who can build trust with pupils who may have had negative experiences of education.
