Are you an experienced PMLD Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity within a specialist SEN setting?
A highly supportive specialist school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and passionate PMLD Teacher to join their team. The school provides a nurturing, structured environment for pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex additional needs.

The PMLD Teacher Role
- Plan and deliver engaging, highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
- Support pupils with PMLD and complex learning needs
- Develop communication, sensory, physical and independence skills
- Use a range of approaches to support non-verbal and alternative communication
- Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other specialist professionals
- Create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment
- Track and celebrate individual pupil progress
- Contribute to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
What We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience teaching pupils with PMLD, SLD or complex SEN
- A strong understanding of personalised and sensory-based learning
- Experience supporting pupils with communication and physical needs
- Patient, creative and nurturing approach
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working within a xgikmsk specialist SEN environment
