SEMH Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about helping young people overcome barriers to learning?
A specialist secondary SEN/SEMH school in Surrey is looking to appoint a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join its experienced and supportive team this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support pupils with a range of additional needs, including SEMH, Autism, ADHD and associated learning difficulties , helping them to engage with education, build confidence and achieve their individual goals.
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: ?
Support students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups ?
Work closely with teachers to deliver personalised learning ?
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation ?
Encourage independence, resilience and self-confidence ?
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and their families where appropriate We're looking for someone who is: Patient, resilient and proactive Passionate about supporting young people with additional needs Experienced in SEN, SEMH, youth work, care or education (desirable but not essential) Committed to making a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable students This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or someone looking to build a long-term career within specialist education. ??
