A highly supportive specialist school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated and passionate PMLD Teacher to join their team. The school provides a nurturing, structured environment for pupils with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and complex additional needs.

The PMLD Teacher Role Plan and deliver engaging, highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
Support pupils with PMLD and complex learning needs
Develop communication, sensory, physical and independence skills
Use a range of approaches to support non-verbal and alternative communication
Work closely with Teaching Assistants, therapists and other specialist professionals
Create a calm, safe and engaging learning environment
Track and celebrate individual pupil progress
Contribute to EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status ( QTS ) or equivalent teaching qualification
Experience teaching pupils with PMLD, SLD or complex SEN
A strong understanding of personalised and sensory-based learning
Experience supporting pupils with communication and physical needs
Patient, creative and nurturing approach
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Someone who genuinely enjoys working within a specialist SEN environment
