Are you a Level 2 qualified Early Years Practitioner looking to develop your experience within a well-structured nursery setting? A high-performing Trust is opening new nursery provisions in Bexley this September, as part of a major national investment into early years education. Based within established Primary Schools, these settings are designed to improve access to high-quality childcare and provide children with a strong foundation from the outset.
This is a full-time role, offering consistency and the opportunity to work within a supportive and well-led environment.
As a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner, you will:
- Support the delivery of high-quality care and early education
- Work closely with colleagues to maintain a safe and engaging environment
- Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
- Promote children’s language, communication, and social development
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Level 2 Certificate for the Early Years Practitioner or NVQ Level 2 in Children’s Care, Learning and Development (or equivalent)
- Has experience working with young children in a nursery setting
- Has a clear understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Understands safeguarding procedures and responsibilities
