The Teaching Assistant will support pupils across the primary age range, deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy, work with small groups and individual pupils to raise attainment, support children with SEND and additional learning needs, and assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management and pupil assessments. The Teaching Assistant will contribute positively to the wider school community.
Applicants should have previous school-based experience. A strong understanding of child development and learning is essential. Experience supporting pupils with SEND would be advantageous. Candidates should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, nurturing and enthusiastic approach is required.
