The Experienced Primary Teaching Assistant will support teaching and learning across the primary age range:
- Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to raise attainment
- Support pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and speech and language needs
- Assist with lesson preparation, classroom management and assessment activities
- Contribute positively to the wider school community
Applicants should have a minimum of 6 months' school-based experience. A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection is essential. Excellent behaviour management skills are required. Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills. A proactive, nurturing and enthusiastic approach is essential.
