Ribbons & Reeves are working with a specialist school in Haveringwho are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team.
This is an opportunity for an experienced mainstream Primary Teacher to take their existing classroom and curriculum experience into a smaller, more personalised setting.
The RoleYou will teach a KS2 class, delivering a broad range of the Primary curriculum and helping pupils make meaningful academic and personal progress.
The school provides a structured and supportive environment, with teachers able to spend more time understanding individual pupils and adapting learning to their needs.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum, with opportunities to make learning practical, creative and accessible.
While the pupils have additional needs, including ASD and SEMH, the core focus remains on providing high-quality teaching and helping pupils progress through the curriculum.

Subject specialisms are welcomed, but the ability to teach confidently across the KS2 curriculum is more important.
We're Looking For
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong KS2 teaching experience
- Good knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- A confident classroom practitioner
- Strong planning, differentiation and assessment skills
- Someone who can build positive relationships with pupils
- A calm and consistent approach to behaviour
- Willingness to adapt teaching to individual learning needs
- An interest in developing experience within SEN education
SEN experience is not essential. xgikmsk This role could suit a mainstream KS2 Teacher who is looking for a change of environment and wants to develop their specialist teaching experience while continuing to deliver a broad Primary curriculum.
