The Role - As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students with special educational needs across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
- Assist teachers in creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
- Help students develop confidence, independence, and social skills
- Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, and parents to support student progress
The Ideal SEND Teaching Assistant:
- Experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needs
