A vibrant, creative secondary school with sixth form in Haringey is seeking an inspiring and versatile Drama & Dance Teacher to join their thriving Performing Arts faculty from September 2026. The Role

As a Drama & Dance Teacher, you will deliver technically informed, imaginative lessons across KS3 and KS4, developing pupils' skills in performance, devising, and choreography progressively through each year group. You will contribute to productions, support sixth form enrichment, use assessment to track individual development, and build strong relationships with pupils and families who often find their greatest confidence within your classroom.

This Drama & Dance Teacher position will suit candidates who:

  • Hold British QTS or are completing a UK-accredited teacher training programme
  • Graduated with a 2:1 or above in Drama, Dance, Theatre Studies, or a related discipline from a reputable UK university
  • Have meaningful classroom experience within a UK secondary school through placements or a substantive post
  • Show clear evidence of structured lesson delivery across both Drama and Dance disciplines
  • Are legally entitled to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available
  • ECT applicants are welcomed provided formal UK teacher training has been completed.

Salary & Contract

This is a term-time contractual role equivalent to the Inner London pay scale. Salaries range from £40,317 (M1) to £62,496 (UPS3), with daily rates ranging from £206.77 to £320.51 inclusive of holiday pay. Placement on the scale is commensurate with experience.
