What the Role Involves
- Supporting the Head of Sixth Form in managing day-to-day pastoral care across the sixth form
- Monitoring attendance, punctuality, and behaviour and following up promptly where needed

- Coordinating enrichment activities, tutor programmes, and sixth form events
- Building trusted relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community
What the School is Looking For
The ideal Deputy Head of Sixth Form will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university. Previous pastoral, mentoring, or student support experience within a UK school or college is highly valued, with post-16 experience particularly desirable. The school is seeking a confident, organised, and caring Deputy Head of Sixth Form with excellent communication skills and a genuine commitment to young people. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Salary and Contract Info
