  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Hold or be working towards the NASENCO qualification

  • Be confident working with families, staff and external professionals
  • Use assessment and pupil data to identify needs and improve outcomes
  • Have a commitment to ensuring pupils with SEND achieve their full potential

Your responsibilities as SENCO will include:

  • Managing and reviewing EHCPs, support plans and interventions
  • Supporting teachers with adaptive teaching strategies
