The Role | Business & Economics Teacher Full-time Business & Economics Teacher position from January 2027
Teach Business Studies and Economics across Key Stages 4 and 5
Deliver engaging, challenging and academically rigorous lessons
Develop students' understanding of business operations, economic principles, markets and financial decision-making
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire curiosity and independent thinking
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to maximise achievement
Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and departmental development
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and drive outstanding teaching and learning
Promote a culture of high expectations, academic excellence and continuous improvement
About You PGCE with QTS from a recognised UK university
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related subject from a recognised UK university
Strong academic background with excellent subject knowledge in Business and Economics
Proven experience teaching Business Studies and/or Economics at KS4 and KS5
A track record of delivering strong academic outcomes and supporting student progress
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for Business and Economics education
High expectations of students and a commitment to securing outstanding outcomes
