  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of academic abilities and additional needs.
  • Help students build the confidence, routines and organisational skills needed for secondary education.
  • Establish clear classroom expectations and positive relationships.
  • Support pupils who may experience emotional regulation difficulties, disengagement or challenging behaviour.
  • Monitor progress and adapt teaching to help pupils achieve their individual targets.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, pastoral staff and colleagues to ensure consistent support.

Who We're Looking For

  • Primary Teachers with KS2 experience.
  • Secondary Teachers confident supporting KS3 learners.
  • Teachers with experience in transition, intervention or small-group teaching.
  • SEN, SEMH or alternative provision teachers.
  • Adaptable teachers who enjoy working across subjects and supporting pupils with gaps in learning.

You'll need to be

  • Adaptable, able to teach and support pupils at different stages of development.
  • Confident in core subjects, particularly English and Maths.
  • Patient and resilient, with a calm approach to behaviour management.
  • Relationship-focused, able to build trust and encourage positive engagement.
  • Committed to progress, helping pupils develop academically, socially and emotionally.
