If so, Academics Ltd would love to hear from you. We are looking for a compassionate and committed 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join welcoming primary and secondary schools across South East London.
In this role, you'll be the vital link helping pupils overcome barriers to learning β empowering them to grow in confidence, thrive socially, and achieve their goals.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing tailored 1:1 support that meets the individual needs of pupils.
- Encouraging pupils to actively take part in lessons and wider school life.
- Implementing targeted strategies to help pupils make measurable progress.
- Building strong, positive and trusting relationships with pupils.
- Working hand-in-hand with class teachers and communicating with parents to celebrate success and track development.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working with children or young people
- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN
- An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- Two recent professional references
