Primary Teaching Assistant
to join their team as soon as possible. This long-term opportunity is ideal for a
high-achieving graduate with a 1st Class or 2:1 degree
who is looking to gain valuable classroom experience before progressing into a career in
Teaching, Educational Psychology, Speech & Language Therapy or wider education and SEND careers .

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting pupils both inside and outside of the classroom. You will work closely with the class teacher to help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support and ensure pupils remain motivated and confident in their learning.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and effective lessons Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils across the curriculum Helping pupils develop their academic, social and emotional skills Supporting children who may require additional learning or SEND support Working with pupils to reinforce key learning and encourage positive progress Assisting with classroom preparation and maintaining an engaging learning environment Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils Monitoring pupil progress and providing feedback to the class teacher Supporting the wider school team with day-to-day activities and pupil development

The successful candidate will:
Hold a
1st Class or 2:1 degree - essential Have previous experience working with children or young people -
highly desirable Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be patient, enthusiastic and confident when working with pupils Be able to build positive relationships with children and staff Have a proactive and supportive approach to working in the classroom Be committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential
