Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in Southwark? A primary school is looking for a committed Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support to pupils with additional learning needs and help them access the curriculum with greater confidence.

This role would suit someone who has experience supporting children with SEND , whether through one-to-one support, small-group interventions or classroom-based assistance.

Working closely with teachers and the SENCO.
Monitoring and communicating pupil progress.
The successful SEN Teaching Assistant will: Have previous experience working with children or young people.
Have experience supporting pupils with SEN or additional needs .
Be patient, consistent and approachable.
Have strong communication skills.
Be confident supporting pupils on an individual basis.
Understand the importance of safeguarding.
Be committed to helping pupils develop academically and personally.
