As a First-Class Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant , you will work alongside Maths teachers to support pupils across KS3 and KS4. You will provide targeted academic support, help pupils overcome gaps in their mathematical knowledge and challenge students who are working towards higher grades.

Working with teachers to identify and address gaps in pupil knowledge.
Encouraging pupils to develop confidence in Maths.
Supporting high-attaining pupils with extension work where appropriate.
The successful First-Class Maths Graduate Teaching Assistant will: Hold a First-Class degree in Mathematics or a closely related subject.
Have strong A-Levels or equivalent academic qualifications.
Have excellent mathematical and analytical ability.
Be confident explaining mathematical concepts clearly.
Have a genuine interest in working with secondary-age pupils.
Be considering Teacher Training or a future career in education.
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
