This specialist SEMH school in the London Borough of Hackney is seeking a dedicated Teacher of PSHE to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs, the school places personal development, emotional wellbeing and life skills at the heart of its curriculum, helping students develop the confidence and resilience needed to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

What the Role Involves
Deliver engaging PSHE lessons covering emotional wellbeing, healthy relationships, careers, citizenship and life skills. As a SEMH Teacher of PSHE, you'll create a safe and inclusive classroom where pupils feel valued, supported and motivated to engage with learning. You'll work collaboratively with pastoral teams, Behaviour Mentors and therapists to promote positive outcomes for every student.
What the School is Looking For
The successful candidate will hold QTS and have experience teaching PSHE or a related subject. Previous experience within an SEMH school, PRU or Alternative Provision would be highly advantageous. The school is looking for a compassionate, resilient and emotionally intelligent teacher who understands the importance of relationships in supporting vulnerable young people.
