Are you an ambitious Design and Technology teacher ready to take the next step into middle leadership? A large, high-performing secondary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a Head of Design and Technology to lead and develop a successful DT department from September. This is a vibrant and thriving school with around 1,000 students on roll, alongside a strong and growing sixth form. Staff work collaboratively alongside outstanding colleagues to achieve exceptional outcomes for students across all key stages.
As Head of Design and Technology, you will take responsibility for curriculum leadership, teaching and learning, and the continued success of DT across KS3 to KS5.
Key responsibilities:- Leading and developing the Design and Technology curriculum
- Monitoring student progress and securing outstanding outcomes
- Supporting and coaching staff within the department
- Contributing to whole-school improvement and enrichment
