  • Providing targeted 1:1 and small-group mentoring support to pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties

  • Supporting pupils through de-escalation, restorative conversations, and reintegration following exclusions or incidents
  • Maintaining detailed records of pupil interactions, progress, and behaviour patterns to inform wider school support strategies
  • Building consistent, trusted relationships with pupils and families that underpin long-term positive change

The School is Looking For:

  • The ideal Behaviour Mentor will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK university.
  • Previous child-centred experience working with young people with behavioural or emotional needs in a UK school or educational setting is highly valued.
  • The school is seeking a calm, resilient, and determined Behaviour Mentor with excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to helping young people turn a corner.

Salary and Contract Info:

  • £444 per week, pro rata to term time only
  • Full-time, long-term contract from September 2026 to July 2027
