As a German Language Assistant, you will lead conversational German sessions with individuals and small groups, helping pupils prepare for oral examinations, speaking assessments and language competitions. The successful German Language Assistant will also support language clubs, departmental events, educational visits and classroom activities within a thriving Modern Languages department.
Applicants should be a native German speaker or a recent graduate with excellent language skills, outstanding communication abilities and confidence working with young people. A proactive attitude, strong organisational skills, excellent ICT skills and a genuine passion for languages are essential for any German Language Assistant.
