We are recruiting for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a well-regarded boys secondary school in Barnet, supporting students aged 14-18 with special educational needs and academic interventions.
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work across GCSE and A-Level year groups, supporting students with a range of needs including Autism, ADHD, and anxiety. You will contribute to the school's pastoral and academic provision, helping students develop emotional regulation, resilience, and learning strategies through targeted interventions and one-to-one support.
In your role as a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support students within mainstream lessons alongside classroom teachers
- Deliver structured interventions focused on emotional wellbeing and behaviour
- Collaborate with the SEND department to monitor and support pupil progress
- Assist students in developing effective learning strategies and coping mechanisms
