Psychology Graduate β Teaching Assistant Camden Β£460βΒ£500 per week PAYE Temporary ASAP We are looking for a Psychology Graduate to join a supportive and inclusive specialist SEND school in Camden, working as a Teaching Assistant. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate looking to gain valuable first-hand experience supporting pupils with a range of additional needs. The successful candidate will join a dedicated team committed to helping pupils develop academically, socially, emotionally, and personally. As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND, including autism (ASD), ADHD and challenging behaviour. You will help pupils develop confidence, independence, communication and positive engagement with learning, while using a calm, consistent and child-centred approach. Psychology Graduate β Teaching Assistant Requirements: Holds a Psychology degree, ideally at 2:1 or above Has previous child-centred experience through schools, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, volunteering, or similar settings Is calm, patient, and consistent when supporting pupils with additional needs and challenging behaviour Can build positive, trusting, and supportive relationships with children and young people Has a genuine interest in SEND, autism, ADHD and child development Has strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Demonstrates resilience, compassion, and a genuine commitment to supporting young people Has a strong desire to develop professionally and pursue a career in education, teaching, educational psychology or SEND If you're a passionate, resilient, and committed Psychology Graduate ready to gain valuable SEND experience and make a positive difference to young people's lives, we'd love to hear from you.
