Primary ECT
to join a school in
Harrow
on an immediate basis, working in a
Cover Teacher / HLTA capacity . This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary ECT to gain experience across the full primary phase, from
Reception to Year 6 , while being supported by experienced teachers and school staff.
The Primary ECT role will also allow you to gain valuable experience as you work towards developing your career as a full-time classroom teacher.

The Role | Primary ECT Cover classes across
Reception to Year 6 , delivering lessons using teachers' existing planning. Take responsibility for classes in the absence of the usual class teacher. Work with individual pupils and small groups to support learning, confidence, independence, and inclusion. Contribute to assessment, feedback, planning, and wider school activities where appropriate. Work closely with experienced teachers and support staff to develop your classroom practice.
Primary ECT | Requirements QTS
with a genuine enthusiasm for primary education. A proactive, adaptable, and reflective approach to teaching. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Confidence working across different primary year groups, or a willingness to develop this experience. A commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing. Enthusiasm for developing your teaching practice and building a long-term career in education.
