Are you graduating from Oxford or Cambridge with a degree in Maths, English or Science and looking to gain meaningful school-based experience before pursuing your next career step? Secondary schools across Hackney are seeking exceptional Oxbridge graduates to support students across KS3 and KS4 from September 2026 on full-time, long-term contracts until July 2027.

Oxbridge Graduate Opportunities – What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering targeted 1:1 and small-group intervention sessions in Maths, English or Science
  • Supporting pupils preparing for GCSE examinations and closing gaps in understanding
  • Working alongside experienced teachers and subject leaders within high-performing departments
  • Encouraging confidence, engagement and strong independent study habits
  • Supporting both academic progress and wider pupil development across KS3 and KS4

Candidate Requirements

  • Oxford or Cambridge graduate (or finalist) with a predicted or achieved 2:1 or First-Class degree in Maths, English or Science

  • Previous tutoring, mentoring or child-centred experience is beneficial but not essential
